Poster session

Goal

Create posters about applying Time Management techniques to concrete situations.

Material

  • Large pieces of paper (flipchart or at least A3)

  • Flipchart markers or other big pens

Task

Draw a poster that explains how you would use Time Management to improve one of the following situations:

  • I don't find time to read papers

  • I am stuck with writing my paper/thesis

  • My e-mail Inbox is pouring over

  • I am doing too many things at a time

  • I get out of work too late

Instructions

  1. Explain the task

  2. Assign one problem to a small team (2-4 people) at random

  3. Set a timer to 20 minutes

  4. Attach the posters on a wall and give participants 10 minutes time to read each others' posters
